About the directory
Guides, prices and sources
Copes Gidi is an independent directory of fishing guides and trips in Latvia. We help you compare public information and contact guides directly.
How we select profiles
We include guides and teams with a publicly described fishing offer in Latvia. We use their websites, public posts, tourism directories and other sources named in each profile. A listing does not imply a partnership or endorsement by the guide.
A source for every fact
Each profile ends with a list of sources and the date they were checked. Self-reported claims about experience and achievements are distinguished from independent sources. We do not invent information that has not been published.
Current profiles were compiled from public sources checked on 29.10.2026. The check date does not confirm today’s availability or final prices.
What a published price means
We state the price source and basis: per trip, person, hour or another published unit. Different price bases should not be compared as identical services. Confirm VAT, extra expenses, available dates and cancellation terms with the guide before booking.
Why guides appear in this order
Profiles with visible public activity appear first, followed by the date of the most recent evidence. This is not a quality ranking or a list of the best guides. “Active” refers to evidence of public activity, not available dates.
Contact directly
Copes Gidi does not accept trip bookings or payments and charges no commission. Listed guides are independent service providers. When you call or message a published contact, you reach the guide or the explicitly named contact person.
Corrections and contact
Send directory questions and corrections to info@copesgidi.lv. Include the profile link and, if possible, an up-to-date public source. Guides may request additions, corrections or removal of their profiles.
